My Team

June 17, 2013

“Therefore, whatever you want others to do for you, do also the same for them.”
– Matthew 7:12 (Holman Christian Standard)

“A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way.”
– John C. Maxwell

This is my team. It is composed of people like me—we make it what it is. It will be friendly—if I am. It will have a good attitude—if I have a good attitude. It will do great work—if I work. It will be disciplined—if I am disciplined. It will be a team filled with love and loyalty—if I help to fill it with these. Therefore, with the help of God, I shall dedicate myself to the task of being all the things I want my team to be. –Joe Gibbs, former NFL coach and owner of Joe Gibbs Racing.

Heavenly Father, thank you for the team you have given me. Teach me Lord, not to have a higher standard for others than I have for myself. Keep me in your perfect will. Amen.
