Do it daily

June 1, 2015

As coaches, we know that physical growth demands physical exercise. We must also understand that spiritual growth as a follower of Christ requires spiritual exercise. Here are four daily exercises to help us build spiritual muscle.

(Taken from FCA’s, More Than Winning – Your Game Plan for Life)

DAILY SEEK CHRIST – Spend time every day reading God’s Word and devoting time in prayer.

“…they welcomed the message with eagerness and examined the Scriptures daily to see if these things were so.” – Acts 17:11

DAILY SHARE CHRIST – Share Jesus every day through your words and actions.

“Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ; certain that God is appealing through us.” – 2 Corinthians 5:20

DAILY LEAD OTHERS – Lead others by serving as Christ did. Every day die to self and yield complete control of your life to Jesus Christ.

“If anyone wants to come with Me, he must deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow Me.” – Luke 9:23

DAILY LOVE OTHERS – Take every opportunity to show others around you that you love them.

“But encourage each other daily, while it is still called today…” – Hebrews 3:13

As we do these DAILY exercises, we will grow stronger in our Christian life and be effective members of God’s team.
