Who is the greatest athlete of all time? Who is the greatest coach of all time? What is the greatest team of all time? These are questions that are impossible to answer. How can you truly compare the skills of Jim Thorpe vs. Bo Jackson? Is Alabama’s Nick Saban a better coach than the legendary Nebraska Coach Tom Osborne? Are the Golden State Warriors the best professional franchise of all time or would you lean to the Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Lakers of another era? It becomes a little easier discussion if we proclaim that Bo Jackson, Nick Saban and the Golden State Warriors are the best we have personally witnessed. We can be passionate when we testify to others what we have personally witnessed or experienced. I saw Bo Jackson play. I watched Nick Saban coach. I witnessed the Golden State Warriors during their years of greatness. No one can take away your experience because it’s yours and you lived it.

In John 14:6, Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.” If that’s true, then Jesus was the greatest man to ever walk this earth. Some might say what about all the great men and women of science, education and philanthropy? While there have been many great achievements over time that have improved my life, nothing and no one has changed my life like Jesus Christ. I have personally experienced His grace and I have witnessed His unending love. I can passionately witness and testify what Jesus has done for ME! As a “Christ follower”, it is my personal responsibility to share this testimony with others, so that Jesus can change their lives like He did mine. Oh, how I long for His presence. Come and listen, let me tell you what He did and is doing for me!

Lord God, thank you for the gift of having a personal relationship with you. What peace it is to know that you are with me today, tomorrow and for eternity. Amen.
